So tell me what was wrong with finding out that the difference between Zack Duke and Felix Hernandez is about 10 quality starts a season?

To me, that is as interesting as the one hit a week .250/.300 fact.

 

It was tremendously useful information to anyone in the throes of debate about whether Felix Hernandez is better than Zach Duke.

 

It tells me how much better. Hernandez gives you at least 10 games a season where you have a very good chance to win against 10 games you would probably lose. So maybe 7-8 wins in the won/lost column.

 

And you didn't already know that? And there is no other sufficient way already of figuring that out?
