this happened 6 times against georgia. as did being outplayed by a drunk, fumbling away the game on florida's last possession, and crying like a little girl once it was all over.

3rd in the SEC east. citrus bowl bound whoop-de-farking-do.

Only one of those he had something close to a "bad" game in was the LSU contest, though.

It's not top player on the best team. It's best player in college football, and he was certainly one of the best in just about everybody's book, including mine, and I hate the SEC and all it represents.

well bless his heart. maybe matt stafford can call him from the BCS.

  7. The thing about Tebow being a system quarterback is completely backward. The guy is what, 6-4, 300 pounds or something. You're an idiot if you make him purely a pocket passer and he's shown he's too good to be considered just a running qb. System quarterback my ass. The guy is unique.

Now put Klingler, Ware, Detmer, Wuerffel or any of those other guys back in the day in Hawaii's system now and tell me they don't fare well.

And GBNF's point goes sailing over Write-brained's head.

  9. OK, he's unique.
He's just not as good a football player as McFadden is.

Well, you can say someone is better than him. But I think you're really reaching if you say he should be judged strictly by his worst games (or in his case, least spectacular games). And the third in the SEC argument is a strawman.

    Stop the freaking presses.

    Quarterbacks get sacked sometimes!

And it counts against their rushing statistics!

That he only had ONE rushing game like that speaks volumes.

And I HATE the %$#*&#@ Gators.

    Who the fuck cares anyway?

    Geno Torretta has a Heisman.
    Peyton Manning doesn't.

The trophy's relevance begins and ends with those two sentences.

  12. WTF ever, June Jones called him a system quarterback, too. It's just not true.
