Yikes. But I thought he was smart. He went to UVA, after all...

His best financial option: make an NFL comeback??

I'm surprised he was "only" making $300K from NBC.

I actually might feel sorry for the guy if he'd been downsized at NBC, but he fucked around on his wife and got what's coming to him.

I was actually floored that he was "only" getting 300k for Today. I assumed he was in the 600-800k neighborhood. Don't feel so bad about my TV salary now...

Dude should have hung on for one more year in the league...

Yeah, I would have figured he was pushing seven figures. It was enough to get him to retire.

Jeez, he was only getting the fluffiest of fluff assignments from NBC.
They sent him out w/training wheels, and he still didn't impress anyone.

Well, if he had a non-compete clause in his contract, he can be at the NFL Network in time for the playoffs.

Not only that, but he cheated on his wife with an NBC intern, so they had no choice but to fire his ass ...

Fuck him. He was a divisive prick on the Giants and hid behind those gigantic teeth.

Yup, did any teams try and talk him out of retirement in 2007? If not, that says a ton about him.

Simple math for anyone thinking about divorce, that is someone with kids:

Gross Income - (75% [for taxes, alimony, child support]) = What you get to live on.

That means basically, you're now living in an apartment dreaming about the great life you used to have (but you get to hang on to the 23 yr old blonde).
