as I said already, shockey, I agree. the greatest competitor, sure. "athlete," though, is more than a little stretch.

Yeah, Junkie, it takes two to tango when a 5-shot lead is tossed. O'Hair blew it. But it was still great stuff. Forget the 18th hole, it's the other moments like the ball-in-the-lip bunker shot that he muscled out earlier in the round that always make it worth it for me.

Hell, I was amazed yesterday when he couldn't find his ball after he hit it into the bank of the pond at the 18th. I didn't think it was possible for Tiger to lose a ball on land considering all the cameras and people watching every shot!

Plus, since he's not human, you're comparing apples to aliens. :D

If Tiger played Tebow in H-O-R-S-E, who would win?

    Or would the planet implode?

They would both have h o r s. And THEN the world would implode.

So folks, outside of the South, Tebow has no powers.

See, this is a great unknown. Florida would have to venture outside the South for us to find out.

That just shows that Tiger's stats are inflated because every one of his peers sucks.

Just heard a stat on the radio that Tiger has made $97 million on the PGA Tour alone since 1996.

Endorsement money probably triples that or more.

Dude has the charmedest of the charmed life.

I don't worship him, but I love his career path.
I wonder how anyone wouldn't like the Tiger Woods story.

I give the guy all the credit in the world for being the greatest at what he does. But I'm not one of those people who is amazed by stuff that's fairly common. Many sports fans are, though, so I think at times there's a thin line between appreciation and worship. On Tiger I fall somewhere between buck and Junkie.
