And if Tiger wins two majors this year, is he all of a sudden once again a lock to break Nicklaus' record?

Driving distance was about 40 yards shorter than norm.

It's been easy to note that the prevailing Bronco brain-trust is chrono-moronic, but to draft Timmy T. in the first round was well beyond the pale.

That would seem to imply there are actual brains in Dove Valley these days.

Tiger needs five majors to break Jack's record. He's 34. Jack won five of his majors at 35 or older. So unless Tiger's back problem is severe and/or chronic, which it could well be, who knows, I think he's still a good bet even if he doesn't win one this year.

By the way .... Tim Clark won the tournament.

Edited because it should be life-sized. (OK, I have a dog in the fight, but not only was it about time, but I was also getting sick of Johnny Miller ragging on Tim Clark about his second-place finishes. Worse, the same man turned into Lee Westwood's apologist about not being able to finish off tournaments.)

So, which is it, Johnny? Can't have it both ways ...

I wonder what Steve Levy had to say about this.

Can too much sex result in a sprained disk in the neck?

(When the story first moved on the wire, I misread it as "sprained dick" and said "yeah, that figures".)
