Am too involved to look it up and I couldn't find it in my style guide...

If there is a tie between two teams in a poll, which is the correct AP style:
    8. Cedar Bluff (3-1) 94
    tie. McIntosh (3-0) 94
    8. Cedar Bluff (3-1) 94
    8. McIntosh (3-0) 94

I know papers have their own style, but what's AP style?

I was going to help you out, but just dropped my stylebook behind my big, ancient bookcase by accident. Thus, I can't.

    But I'm fairly sure it's 8 and 8.

    Doesn't matter to us.

Our poll comes as part of a fucking module.

Can't change it no matter how screwed up it is.

I weep for the newspaper we used to be.

So when it comes in, does it come in 8 and 8 or 8 and tie?

    What about this?

    T8. Cedar Bluff (3-1) 94
    T8. McIntosh (3-0) 94

T8 is the style to my understanding.

I believe it goes 8. and 8. (tie) and AP style is to list alphabetically. Of course you can always change it to fit your own style.
