Yada, yada, yada. Fairly simple today.

    1. Who is the only player to win a batting title for an expansion team in its first year?
ANSWER: Andres Gallaraga, .370 for the 1993 Colorado Rockies.

    2. Which team ended the University of Texas football team's 42-game home winning streak during the 1976 season?
    ANSWER: Houston, 30-0 on Nov. 6, 1976.

    3. Who scored Oakland's final two touchdowns in the infamous "Heidi game?"
ANSWER: Charlie Smith and Preston Ridlehuber are correct. Pass from Lamonica, fumble recovery on the kickoff.

    4. Who holds the Pacific-10 Conference record for most receiving yards in a single season?
ANSWER: Mike Hass, 1,532 in 2005

    5. When Babe Ruth retired in 1935 with 714 homers, only two other major leaguers had 300 or more career homers at that point. Who were they?
ANSWER: Lou Gehrig (378), Rogers Hornsby (300).

MUSICAL TRIVIA BONUS: Dave Kincaid, Ed Rupprecht, Ernie Mendillo, and Larry Mason are (were) otherwise known as ... The Brandos. Somewhat obscure, but not that obscure.

I think No. 5 is Lou Gehrig and Jimmie Foxx. (Sure about Gehrig, 80 percent on Foxx).
