Yes, we are back. Nothing as difficult as last week's college football question about the only team to play in five different major-league stadiums in the same season. That's a keeper.
    Play or don't.

    1. According to my NCAA record book, this man is the only consensus All-American, in a year his team made the Final Four, who did not play in the Final Four that year. Who was that player?
ANSWER: Bob Lanier, St. Bonaventure, 1970. Chris Ford takes him out while trailing by 20 points in the 1970 regional final vs. Villanova, torn ACL, cost St. Bona's a national title shot. Fuck Chris Ford.

    2. Who hit the first inside-the-park home run in the history of Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minn.?
    ANSWER: Harmon Killebrew, 7/4/61.

    3. Who holds the major-league record for most career victories without a shutout?
ANSWER: Goose Gossage, 124 career wins.

    4. Who is the only native of Mississippi in the Baseball Hall of Fame?
ANSWER: Cool Papa Bell is correct.

    5. Two players have scored 80 or more points in a single Final Four (remember, there used to be a third-place game). They are?
ANSWER: Bill Bradley of Princeton is one of the two players, the all-time leader with 87 points, and Hal Greer of Temple, 80 points.
