So it's not Charles Haley? I thought I right with that one.

Not Charles Haley, We'll give this one a little more time to percolate before giving out the answer, and the coincidental slice of trivia.

The Silver Anniversary hint leads me to believe it's a newer franchise...the Buccaneers or Seahawks, or maybe the Dolphins.

Mack Strong? Or perhaps an unknown offensive lineman.

I thought that too, Rumple, but he played at Fresno State.

I'm thinking it's a fullback of some sort.

Finally, a stumper. Here's the answer to No. 5:

Cornell Green, former corner/safety for the Dallas Cowboys. He played from 1962-74 and was on their all-25th anniversary team, played in the Super Bowl against Baltimore (lost) and Miami (won) and in the Pro Bowl many times.

He was a basketball player at Utah State, but never played college football.

He is the younger brother of Pumpsie Green, the first black player for the Boston Red Sox.
