Thunderbird, Blue Angels both suffer crashes on same day

    The Thunderbirds flew over Obama at the USAFA commencement shortly before the crash.

    One fatality confirmed in Smyrna.
    Eyewitness says he saw the No. 6 stall after a loop.

    And a truck overturned during an exercise at Fort Hood. The truck got swamped during a flash flood. Last I heard, there were five dead, three missing and two or three rescued.

    Yesterday was a bad day. Stripes.com had an article saying there will be more emphasis on safety training.

    Thunderbirds are NOT go! (at least at the moment) for Quonset Air Show next weekend in R.I. (Be watching from my brother's backyard - he lives in the sweet spot just north of where the serious traffic jams begin.)
