    Yes, people are still racist.

Isn't David Price black? That would seem to shoot a hole through your argument.

Nowhere does it say who the guns or marijuana belonged to. The only item referenced to a person is Price's Bentley.

No pun intended on "shoot a hole"? :)

    The AK-47 belonged to Longoria.

    That has been established.

You are right about the gun, my mistake. It is an interesting story.

I can understand reporting the AK-47. I am not sure if you can legally own one. I assume it was, and Longoria owned it legally, because he doesn't see to be in any trouble.

What is interesting to me is the circumstances under which they would have reported the tub filled with pot. On the surface, you'd think you just don't tell the cops about that. There has to be more to it.

You can legally own one as long as it is semi-automatic and not fully automatic.

Right now, the only people saying the Rubbermaid of pot was stolen from inside the residence are the accused robbers.
I'm guessing the final version of this story will be that the pot was something that the accused already had in their possession.
There will be no tie-in with the pot and the players.

Never rent a house from Ricky Williams.

Sure it's been written about as a minor news story, straight.

I'm curious about how the amount and tone of coverage would differ if the athlete were a black NFL or NBA star.

    Vastly different in my opinion.
