Video screenshot of Richardson getting cuffed and stuffed. Notice he's wearing his UT team-issued gear:

And according to this story, Jackson has already been released from jail on his own recognizance, which echoes westcoastvols' assertion he'll probably get off:

That's not Richardson, it's the other kid.

Yeah, you're right. That's Mike Edwards. Richardson has dreads.

I'm not going to re-link the story because it's the same one as the original (just updated), but Kiffin now says he'll wait before he decides on discipline:

Nice hustle by the News-Sentinel to get a video interview with the two victims:

I'd bet money the guy on the right has crystal meth pumping through his veins ...

The players are suspended indefinitely right? No way can you allow them to take part in team activities at this point.

You've got to be kidding. Why shouldn't their parents give them that name if it suits them? Why it is any worse than whatever your name is? And what possible relevance does that have to the thread topic?

    What a strange post.

So what? Does having Crystal Meth in your system mean people are allowed to rob you at gunpoint with impunity?

Naming a black kid Nu'Keese is no different than naming a white kid Sparrow, Suri, Scout or Moon Unit, as white entertainers of have done.

That said, they're all dumb asses.

I believe they are suspended. But Edwards & Richardson won't be participating in team activities anyway seeing as how they're in the Knoxville pokey.

And, from a legal standpoint, Kiffin can't really kick them off the team because they aren't technically guilty of anything yet. You'd just be setting the school up for a lawsuit if they're found innocent or the charges are dropped.

You'd think more people would realize that when this kind of stuff happens but they'd rather rip the coach for not doing something.

If they're convicted Kiffin won't have to kick them off the team. They'll be in prison.

Meanwhile I read the victim says the guys should still be on the team? Because it's Tennessee and all? Fuck an a.

Yes, he can kick them off the team before a trial. Athletic scholarships are renwewable on a yearly basis. A coach can toss a kid any time he wants. It's been upheld by the legal system. There is no constitutional right to play sports.
