I don't know how the Navy and Marine Corps flight training programs work, but a 20-something lieutenant wouldn't be flying around the country, by himself, in the Army.

Didn't realize that when I made my posts. I don't think any of us did.

I know; I'm talking about the thread title. Already sent a note to bigpern.

3 confirmed dead, 1 still missing. The plane hit a house where four people where living -- a grandmother, mother and two kids.

Yeah, I was in a joking mood when the assumption was that no one got hurt.

That sucks. What a horrendous way to go...

That pilot is going to have a lot of psychological baggage to deal with.

Unfortunately, NoONe, that's all part of the game.

Should be interesting hearing what happened here. Four miles from the coast - two miles from the run way and he ejects over a residential area.
I wonder who made the call to try and make it back after the pilot initially reported trouble?

  9. How many people have to die before you losers won't make inane jokes about something?

The pilot in command of the aircraft makes all the decisions regarding his/her aircraft.

All jokes on this thread, as far as I can tell, were made when it was assumed that no one was in those homes. Did something else get deleted?

Hey dildo, there were no indications of any deaths when the story was first reported. The initial reports only mentioned that the pilot ejected safely. There haven't been any jokes since the deaths were reported. Take your moral indignation elsewhere.
