How about a solo tour of the following:

Don Henley, Sting and Peter Gabriel.

I went to Live 8 and had a hell of a time. That concert had a couple of bands.

  4. That sounds like one of the old Volunteer Jam shows.
    My dream three:

    J Geils.
    (the original) Allmans.
    The Who.

Saw Springsteen, Sting and Peter Gabriel. That was fun.

Hendrix, Skynyrd and Metallica would be a hella fun show. Substitute Nirvana for Metallica, add some liquor and other substances in the dressing rooms, and it'd be even better.

Considering just the first two A-holes on that list and what they gouge people for when with their bands, nosebleed seats would be $1,000.

I saw Merle Haggard, the Judds and Alabama on the same bill.

But for my fantasy three-band set I'd want groups that could mesh and jam at the end: The Eagles, the Doobie Brothers and for variety Cross Canadian Ragweed.

Even though I've seen Soundgarden and they were superb, replace them with Screaming Trees or Nirvana and you've got a deal.

I'd love to see Jewel or K.T. Tunstall with Dar Williams and the Indigo Girls.

  10. My alltime one-night bill, single-admission division:
Waylon Jennings, Muddy Waters, Sonny Rollins and the Chieftains.
