Thoughts for longtime member (Just a SID)

    Folks, in a free moment today, please keep longtime board curmudgeon Just A SID in your thoughts today. His mom, who was fighting cancer for a while, passed away last night. JASID's doing okay, but still...

    Honestly, I haven't lost a parent yet, and it's something that I'm not sure how I'll handle. Hope I hold up half as well as our friend.

    Mother-in-law is going through a second round of chemo now for breast cancer
    Well-wishes and strength to SID and family

    This is so tough to deal with, and then there's the chance it could happen to you.
    And that'd be when it would be the worst.
