Thoughts and prayers...a week of bad news.

    Cripes, I can't remember a crappier week in a while where tragic story, followed tragic story. The shootings in L.A., St. Louis, Baton Rouge, the tornadoes in the Mid-South, and I'm sure I'm missing a few others.

    Anyone else surprised when bad news is still able to pierce the crusty, numbed shell of a journalist?
