  1. it's amazing that you can find a random NBA telecast when ESPNClassic feels the need (I remember them showing a Sixers-Lakers game from '87 sans an injured Julius Erving last summer), but there maybe only 50 telecasts still intact from the 70s for MLB, that's sad.

    One of the great games to watch for anyone who has it on tape is 1991 Game 7, Morris v. Smoltz. Turn off the lights, grab your favorite spirit and just relax for a few hours of old school baseball at its very best.

    Wish I'd seen this last night. I hope they replay it again.

    And the '67 DVD was released last month. Was tempted to pick it up a couple weeks ago at Newbury Comics, but I passed for some stupid reason.
