    Wow, they weren't killed? That needed to be in the lede. The hed said "crushed" and so did the lede, and I took that to mean "killed."

    No mention that they were alive until it mentioned they were still in intensive care halfway through the story. Very unclear.

    would any u.s. court, be it federal or state, have any jurisdiction on a reservation? Aren't they sovereign nations?

    Second sentence said they suffered "multiple injuries" and Ragu posted they lived in the first post as well.

    I read it, assuming if it said it crushed their car while they were in it, if it didn't say "killing them" then they lived.
