Not to mention when you've got ADD and can't stay on task, Breaker of Leopold and Loeb.

Hardly a ripple in the big picture.

Every election needs a crackpot with no shot.

I guess that role now falls to Huckabee.

So this means you're giving Ron Paul a shot?

  5. Goddamn.
    There goes Canberra.
Now I'm back to voting on the merits.

Fred Thompson didn't. Otherwise, he wouldn't have quit his day gig.

I think you have at least show you want the presidency a LITTLE. Thompson listened to too many people who told him how easy it would be and he'd be like Reagan 2K8. His effort wasn't going to motivate anyone to vote for him.

You nailed it: the sumbitch would rather coast on his rep than to work for something. He learned a lot from Hollywood when it comes to using the "do you know who I am" card and getting a free seniors meal from Denny's.

Seems to me most of the Fredheads will go for McCain.

It makes sense. The Fredheads couldn't go with Mitt or Huckleberry Hound. They're, shall we say, too sophisticated for both.

  12. Don't underestimate the Mittster. Some of the Fredniks will go there.
The GOP establishment -- to say nothing of the whackadoo base that's going to be driving the train in the upcoming closed primaries -- really despise Straight Talkin' John. If the Hildebeast wasn't running, he'd be Target A. The local talkers up here have been slaughtering him, and Rush is no big fan, either.
