WSCR wanted to rid itself of McNeil. He gave it the opportunity. I actually enjoyed listening to the guy. But, he's an old fart. I assume WSCR will pair Parkins up with some young hipster. That's the business. Full disclosure: I haven't listened to The Score's afternoon drive in quite some time, probably June or July.

Les Grobstein overnights is still awesome!

I've been instructed that things need to be even more conservative than that.
    "That's a nice shirt/skirt/blouse/pair of pants" - OK
That shirt/skirt/blouse/pair of pants looks nice on you" - Not OK.

Why comment at all on a colleague’s appearance?

I had a female boss who would tell people "you look especially nice today" because saying "you look nice today" implies they don't look nice on other days.

I went to talk with my boss (female) at her desk. Waited a few seconds while she was typing something on her computer. I said that was a nice fragrance for her, was it new? She laughed and said she was rollerblading before work, it was sunscreen.

Haircut or style, if it’s a big change (and if you’re being honest with the compliment). Else, no.

    Good - Like the look!
Bad - Love that dress, it really shows you off.

Admittedly - I once complemented a co-worker on her ice chest that she brought in - it came out "Nice Chest" (and she was...yeah) I turned red.

"How does this ice chest make my nice chest look?"

I'm not conservative in any way but no good can come from telling someone who isn't your wife that she looks nice. One person's opinion.

    Absolutely.
Safer to say nothing at all.
