This Yankees/Orioles game is a joke

    LOL. It's true.

He's the king of company line, happy talk. For him to even hint that it's not a great idea to be playing at 11:00PM, in the rain, is surprising.

I'm sure Uncle Phil Mushnick will have a word or two on this later this week.

What time does the subway stop running?

    This.

If that game would have been made up, then there would have been an open date Thursday, so a DH on Wednesday would have been no problem. But to do a DH on Wednesday, then fly to Baltimore for a day game and then have to fly to Anaheim, there's no way the Yanks were going to do that.

I also suspect that if the Yankees have the lead after 5 and there is any kind of precipitation at all they'll call the game.

Fuck it Yankees, give 'em the God damn good seats:

I'm told that all fans are being given the chance to move down to the lower level ... though not the Legends Seats.

    NYC Subway runs all night.

Only comes about every :30 minutes in the wee hours, though they usually have several lined up and ready to go after a normal Yankees' game.

He's typing it up right now -- if he hasn't already fallen asleep.

Fuck the Yankees. I wish they had to play all their games in the rain, going from town to town with a cloud over their heads like Pigpen.

They'll never let the unwashed in the Legends Seats.

There's a moat dividing them from the rest of the lower bowl. Separate entrance and access to private lounge comes with those seats.

    They'll never do it.

But they should. For this game, they should. How many people could still be there?
