    More power to 'em. If the kids grow up to be productive citizens, ie. not drains on the system, that's great.

    Wonder how many kids Bobby and Ethel Kennedy would have wound up with if he hadn't been plugged while No. 11 was still in the oven.

    It's not right because merely bringing one child into the world is an immensely selfish act. You may (or may not) be a competent adult. There is no guarantee that the child will value his or her life or be able to reach whatever state of well-being you've achieved. There is a chance that you've created someone who will live their life in misery. And even a chance is enough to make it not right.
