Candidly, I'm going to say that without my wife I'm not where I am today (after 23 yrs) and I have no problems with her entitlement to 50% of our assets. She was employed and providing much needed financial support when I was building my practice and we've been able to give our kids a stay at home parent while they were in school. Most importantly, as a lawyer, I say "you knew those were the rules when you got married, you don't get to complain now when you're a billionaire (or whatever). So i disagree with the disparagement of of a spouse's right to their half.

Bezos has a net worth of $150 billion. He made more last year than Donald Trump made his whole life. I don’t think the National Enquirer wants the headaches that Bezos can inflict.

 

It looks like a political hit job, but it also looks like they have that affair story down cold. Don't cheat on your spouse. It ends badly for everyone, even Jeff Bezos.
