I love the opening. Aside from Saving Private Ryan, one of the most compelling military movie openings in the past 30 years.

Yeah its cheesy, but the flight scenes were sweet. Remastered would be worth it on the big screen with THX or whatever, but not near me and LL game time.

 

Extra gay? That's too dangerous... like crossing the streams or adding more cheese to Cheez-Its. I don't think the world is ready.

 

I'll second the question, and I'll ask one of my own - will you bring "Slap Shot" back to the big screen too?

 

Ha! Definitely not complaining, but like any other job, good days and not so good.

I just sent a note to see if Slap Shot is a possibility...although I'm not holding my breath.

I am fully aware Top Gun is a bad movie in technical terms but I watch that movie more than any other. I remember first learning of Top Gun when I went on a summer camp trip to Kings Island the summer the Top Gun ride debuted. Waited 2-3 hours in line for it and they would play audio from the movie (can't remember if there was video) and loved the movie from then on.

If that makes me gay then so be it. I gotta have my speed.
