He was also the old assistant coach. So he was already employed by K-State.

I hear this dude is crazy on the sidelines. Cusses his players out with such intensity that even Joe Pesci's characters shudder.

What happens if Beasley decides he wants out of there? It's not like he was thrilled with the idea of spending a winter in the Little Apple anyway.

Let's say Beasley just says, Fuck it, I'm going to go to Memphis, Florida State, etc. Then the recruiting class falls apart. Do they fire Martin?

I like the first comment "They would've given the job to Bin Laden if it would mean Beasley came."

    So true...

After one season, maybe. It would be tough to make that move now when they've already committed to him.

Whitlock's column from this weekend on Martin/K-State makes the Big Lead's story look pretty minimal. Whitlock brought out the brass knucks and the bat with the scissors shoved through the end.

I love that he used the term "this won't end well" in the last paragraph.

He brought out the pimp hand in that one. Good column.

Martin's a doozy. I know some people who've watched him in action. I think Clark Griswold's "Hail Marty Moose" rant is appropriate.
