They were from Louisiana and they were caught in Louisiana. The crimes and the trial took place in Florida. A little reading comprehension would go a long way.

Here's a link to the verdict and the death sentence.

Sorry, I was going simply off memory. The emotional day was the day they were sentenced to death, not executed. Links in the above post. Eat me.

The Bonvillion brothers, later known as the Moe brothers for some reason, were never executed. They were resentenced to life in prison and died there.

Citation for also being known as Moe brothers:

So how, exactly, were you in your dorm room when the "news reported" their execution and getting choked up?

Like i said, I was in my dorm room when the death sentence was reported. It was 28 years ago. I remember it being quite emotional but I mistakenly said "execution" rather than "given death sentence." I started googling why there was no record of their execution and was unaware they changed their names for some reason. They were on death row but died on their own. Good. Sorry I didn't have perfect memory 28 years later. They were sentenced to die, they died a long time ago. Like I said, good. And they even had the courtesy to not wait through a bunch of appeals before dying on their own. Hopefully the illnesses were long and painful.
