Once upon a time, a bunch of Japanese and German millionaires came to the United States, saw a billboard that said, "Buy American" and took the motherfucker to heart.

There wouldn't have been any Japanese and German millionaires if not for the U.S. creating them in the wake of the war.

The fear of Communism led the Amerks to basically rebuild those countries' economies in America's image and prevent the Soviets from taking them over. Shoulda let them rebuild their own damn countries, because it sure didn't do America any good in the long run.

Yes, having stable democracies in those parts of the world has done us no good whatsoever.

When was the last time Budweiser was a symbol of pride, ingenuity or fortitude, American or otherwise?

The clydesdales were/are a recognizable secondary logo or image, but they represent Budweiser, a product.
They don't represent pride or ingenuity or fortitude. They represent a cheap, low quality product.

I wouldn't say cheap, low quality product. Less expensive and average quality.

    Bud's better than:
    Busch
    Miller
    Old Milwaukee
    Pabst
    Strohs
    Coors
    Schmidt's
    Lone Star
    Schaefer
