    Jesus. Maybe it's just fearmongering in light of the stimulus vote coming up. If it is just that, it's worked. Three hours away from a total collapse? Christ.

    Yeah, I'm glad Bush's lasting legacy will be 9/11 and the troops in the Middle East as opposed to that.

    The Dow is down 300 points after the stimulus bill passed. The Dow is sub-8,000 as I type.

    Wall St. wanted more details on Geitner's plan for toxic debt than was provided, if you want to believe the business press. In other words, they wanted to hear: "Poof! It's all gone! Everyone back to business!"

    I could be very wrong about this, but from what I have read so far, but the banks will have to provide some transparency which has been lacking. Maybe the market is reacting to the truth possibly being exposed.
