Things you'd change about baseball coverage (besides Joe Morgan)

    Change the fucking dashes to slashes in baseball fractions so I can fix them.

    Baseball reporting -- more than any other sport -- has become, well, too inside baseball. I would guess that less than 5 percent of fans even know what sabermetrics are, and yet, it's become a major part of team coverage.

    Not saying it doesn't have its place. It does. But I think we've lost the average fan lately. ... Of course this goes into my theory that many pro sports beat reporters write more for team management than average readers. I said MANY, not all. Some of them balance it really, really well.
