They sell out most games, but the weekday matinee games are the least favorite. Don't go to the general web site, as all the good tickets are gone.

Go to the ticket exchange (where season ticket holders can sell their seats)
    http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/ana/ticketing/ticket_exchange.jsp

    or

    www.ebay.com

    or

    www.stubhub.com

If you are sitting in the sun, it will be hot. Hydrate and bring sunscreen.

Don't come to LA to stay in Burbank, unless you are on a limited budget.

    2. Also, years ago I stayed with my significant other in a lovely place called the Mailbu Beach Inn in Malibu.
    3. Venice Beach is a must-visit

You'll almost certainly be able to buy them outside the stadium. Lots of season seats go unused for those midweek day games. Print out a seating chart before you go and bring it with you.

If you are into clogged arteries, saturated fats and one of the absolute best meals you can eat -- hit one of the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.

If you or your better half are into 80's metal -- then the Whiskey is a must.

If you or your better half like to play hold 'em or gamble in general -- then the Commerce Casino is a must.

If you or your better half want to see Los Angeles without all the bells and whistles then a tour of some of the South Central neighborhoods like Inglewood, Watts, Compton and Hawthorne might be in order, though I'd suggest you do that before noon.....

Pink's. Get there early. The line gets long.

    Beaches/towns to visit
Venice Beach (one of my favorite places in SoCal)
    Santa Monica
    Huntington
    Newport
    Manhattan
Santa Barbara's nice, but it's a bit of a drive. If you go up there and plan to hang out on the beach, Goleta's beach is very cool, too, but if you heading that far north, you're only a mile from Pismo, Grover, etc. They might be cooler, than the Santa Barbara area. I'm torn on that count. There's great ocean kayaking between Ventura and Santa Barbara, but there's great ocean kayaking up at Shell and Pismo.

Almost forgot, don't stay in Anaheim with the idea of driving to LA every day. That drive's a pain in the @ss.

Goleta's on the northern border of Santa Barbara. Pismo and Grover are about 100 miles north of that.

I never went, but my friend constantly went on and on about how much he loved Roscoe's.

In N Out is good and it is a great fast-food hamburger.

However, for a really great burger and a great long-time LA burger place, the Apple Pan is terrific. I know where it is but I can't remember the name of the Street. The have these huge burgers and they serve soft drinks in the paper cone cups. It's been around since the 1940s and probably some of the people working there have been there almost as long.

Apple Pan is on Pico, just east of the 405, across from the newly/still-being-renovated Westside Pavillion. Johnny Rockets pretty much ripped them off, except for the apple relish part. Been there since April, 1946. Arguably the best burger in L.A., and at a great price.

There are several Roscoe's around. One on San Vicente, east of LaBrea (Hi, Tiger!) and one on Gower, just north of Sunset.

If you're gonna hit Venice, do it on a Sunday afternoon; that's when the big freak show goes down.

If you were single and in Venice on a Friday/Saturday night and were under 30, go to James Beach at the end of Venice Boulevard. It's the birthplace of the Urban Cougar.

And one more note: how many Angelenos are on here, anyway?
