Thieving political bastards, Linda Chavez edition

    Not throwing this out here as anti-GOP fare -- just so happens that Chavez is a Republican, and I'm sure there are Dems doing this sort of thing too -- just showing another depth to which political "leaders" have sunk. Raising $25 million for PAC, using less than $1 million for actual political activities.

    No surprise here. She's been contemptible and ruthless since her days in the Reagan administration. Problem was that everybody kept buying into the warm-and-cozy press releases that noted she was the first female hispanic labor secretary, cabinet member, whatever...
