Those aren't the worst jerseys a Maryland team has worn this academic year. The Terps are Oregon East now, except Under Armour doesn't even have the aesthetic sense Nike does.

Not sure if this appeared on another thread last weekend, but the South Carolina grey football uniforms last weekend weren't just bad, but from a distance (I was at a bar on Saturday night and looking at the TVs in the corners), it looked like some weird mashup involving black-and-white footage of a team from the 50s and a modern team. Almost troubling to watch.

 

What the hell is a Brewers logo doing on the upper right?

 

Milwaukee solidarity?

 

Several things I gleamed from the story.
• Why do you want to honor a BASEBALL team with basketball uniforms? I don't get it.
• I'd hate to try to read the numbers on the back on those things. Ye gods.
• Why is Maryland trying to become Oregon East? At least Oregon's new chrome helmets look cool and some of their jersey/pants combinations don't completely make me retch. All of Maryland's new digs make me hunger for eye bleach.
