    You're OK. But that fucking Pixiehack pisses me off to no end.

    Snakes have freaked me out ever since I nearly stepped on a diamondback while hiking about a decade ago.

    Recently reading Harry Crews' A Feast of Snakes didn't help much either.

    We've got four cats and I'm not sure a damned one of them would know what to do with a mouse.

    Look for that arch-shaped hole along the floorboard, then wait for him to come out so you can hit him with a hammer. Works in cartoons.

    Or, as sportschick said, get a cat.

    My parents' old cat would catch mice in the backyard and then play with it for about an hour. Looked more like torture to me.

    One of my dogs is hell on moles. My wife loved that until she brought one inside that wasn't quite dead. In fact, the little bitch had a good bit of spunk left. Fun afternoon, let me tell you.
