    Odd that they would have different names in different regions.

    I think they were called Caramel Delites here a few years ago (or when they first came out), but my box definitely says Samoas. Even went to double check in case I hadn't noticed it.

    I live in NY state and had never heard of Samoas, ever. I thought it was some scrumptious alternative that I'd been deprived of. I guess "Samoa" doesn't have the same marketing punch around here.

    Oh, and Tagalongs are now "Peanut Butter Patties" here.

    I bought a few boxes, and all of them say Tagalongs. Weird that it's two different names in the same state.

    I believe GSA licenses two companies for cookie-making, may be related to that.

    OK, "Peanut Butter Patties", I know what those are. But "Tagalongs"? I thought that was another obscure delicacy that did not find its way into the cookie jars of us slugs in NY.
