I never saw that movie. I knew I wouldn't be able to take seeing such a beautiful car ruined.

I spent half an hour looking through a book in a Grand Canyon gift shop about all the deaths there -- suicides, people who took one step too far back posing for a picture, murders. I've always regretted not buying that book.

One story was someone who tried to pull a Thelma and Louise, high-centered the car before reaching the rim, got out of the car and jumped, landed on a ledge 100 feet down, breaking damn near every bone, and crawled to the edge to fall the rest of the way down. That was a person who wanted to die.

They sell a book on Grand Canyon deaths at the Grand Canyon gift shop?

Yeah, and I think it was an actual official gift shop affiliated with the park, too.

What I'm about to say is going to shock millions. It's going to be viewed as a sign that the Apocalypse is nigh. It's going to move Heaven and Earth in a way that even Michael Jackson's Brad Renfro's death couldn't.

    I watched that movie.

    Answers that question, I suppose.

I sure hope there was a note at the end saying something like "Submit your story today!"
