If I had my druthers, I'd prefer listening to Theisman over Kornheiser.

ESPN will screw this up, too.

Is ESPN using the countdown clock to its first MNF preseason game yet?

Theismann out on Monday Night Football

    Just found this on SI.com..
    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/03/25/theismann.removal/index.html
Theismann and Kornheiser never really meshed well together it seemed....I wonder if TK had any input on the decision.
How does it normally work with internal news?
If you're at a shop and they fire someone prominent, making it newsworthy, is that poor form if another place beats you to the story?
Granted it did say ESPN would make an official announcement later in the week. But how could an outsider get it before them?

I am hearing that he will be replaced by either Akon or Sean Paul.

They couldn't get Sylvester Stallone eh?
    Darn.
He'd be my pick. ESPN covers the eagles too much already. He'd fit right in performing Philly fellatio every week.

Re: Theismann out on Monday Night Football http://www.sportsjournalists.com/forum/ Been talked about here for a day or two now. Someone mentioned Ron Jaworski as the replacement.
