I am proud of men today. Five years ago, a thread like this would have produced scores of beer snobs, heckling the less refined.

    This thread? Practically none.

    Well done, men.

Hammered back a few of these while in Niagara Falls for baseball a few weeks ago. Ah, memories....

You probably aren't as old as me. I can drink whiskey, or gin, or wine, to excess, but beer I get feeling sick before drunk.

    1. Original Coors of the late '70s, with the pop-down tops.

    2. Foster's in the oilcan-sized cans.

    3. Olympia (now defunct).

It just never got any better than that for me.

Olympia was a beer I liked in my youth.

They sell 24-ounce cans of this for $3.50 at one of my favored watering holes. $2.50 during happy hour. Proper swill, as I like to say.

OV and Cinci in the 7-ounce pony bottles at my hometown July 4th celebration, three for $1. Might have created the worst gas known to man later that night.
