Agreed on the first part. Don't mind paying an extra dollar or so for Blue Moon, Stella or Corona to have something with taste.
    I don't think I've ever had a PBR.

A Blue Moon with an orange slice on a hot day is money.

My head is about to explode. Blue moon? Stella? Corona has taste?

Drink a lot of Cinquante throughout the year, tough to find on draft (it became a hipster beer for a while a few years back) but is worth it if you can find it.

Stella is the PBR of Europe. Hold that, it's more like the Bud, at least in terms of ubiquity, price and social status. In France anyway, a beer called Kronenburg 1664 is the PBR.

This is my go to for sitting in the backyard with the boys and just getting hammered. Can't go wrong for $13 for a 30 pack.

Perhaps one of my texas brethren can tell me about Lone Star.

A cheap ice cold American beer can hit the spot on a summer afternoon after golf or swimming or sailing or mowing the lawn. But I can't get drunk on the stuff. I get bilious after two or three and have to quit.

    Compared to Bud and Coors?

I'm suddenly reminded of my uncle's theory, the only difference between Busch, Bud and Michelob is 30, 60, and 90 days' brewing.

Agreed. Three is probably the most I've had in a night for many years.

Probably could post this to the Makes Me Feel Old thread, too, because I would say this is a side effect of aging as well.
