    It's been a fun event. Caused some disruptions to business as usual, but that is more than balanced by a chance to shine on the world stage. I really don't know of any major glitches other than a couple of events that were washed out by rain.

    Fistball just aired on the recap show. Are dink shots not allowed? They were hammering every shot which meant the defenses were playing deep. I kept wanting somebody to play a cut shot short.

    I've seen some short shots, but no little dinks. I don't know if that's a rules thing, or culture, or difficulty being accurate with a closed fist or what.

    I went down for the billiards tonight. Migawd, those people are good. The game they're playing looks nothing like what we played at the pool hall back in the day. They make those balls dance and go where they're told.

    Unfortunately this may be confused with the Track and Field World Championships in Oregon.
