    ....Whatever.

Our culture has spiraled to the point to where we sum up how we feel in one word (if not more than that). What current pop culture phrase sets the collective teeth of the SportsJournalists.com crowd on edge....?

    Should have been Tweet/Twitter/etc.

The word "whatever" is about 15 years too late.

    Methinks.

Died with Shakespeare 400 years ago, time to let it go.

I actually really like "methinks." But then, I'm a huge nerd.

I'm actually really tired of hearing the word "economy" or "economic." I know it's really relevant, and it's not like I get pissed hearing it, but I feel like I've just heard variations of the words so much this year I'm forgetting what they mean or how to spell them.

Ever do that? Look at a word long enough that it just doesn't look right? Isn't that fun?

    (maybe one less espresso tomorrow)

Yeah, I'm with zebracoy. Hard to believe it wasn't some form of "Twitter." Maybe that will be next year's word ...
