    I'll take Z, 4, Q, another Q, a third Q and the Batman symbol, Pat.

    - No help there.

Is it, "Alex Karras in Webster?"

Two great moments on 'Millionaire' back in the day.
    1. Contestant doesn't know how many strings are commonly on a guitar.
    B. Contestant doesn't know what Little Jack Horner pulled out of the pie.

I haven't watched Wheel in many, many a year, but I often felt like people continued to spin well after they knew the puzzle in an attempt to rack up dollars.

I certainly think that's what Belichick would do.

    1. I have no idea. 6? Only because of the Bryan Adams song.
    B. I have no idea. A plum or something?

It looked like it might have barely been a full turn in her case. If she tried again and was a little weaker, there's a distinct possibility she lands on bankrupt. Best case scenario, she gets another turn eventually, runs the table and gets some money and the prize. Worst case, someone else goes on a run and nails it before she sees the wheel again. But there's no way she gets to solve the four-line puzzle with one exposed letter.

See, you guessed at both and got them both right.

But your point was that they didn't know. And I'm telling you I didn't know.

This drives me insane when I watch this show. I guess stage fright factors in, where they just freeze up and their mind draws a blank, so they stall and buy a vowel. 99 percent of the time it's a waste of money.

As for her strategy, that wheel is just capricious enough that if you know it, like bydesign said, you probably don't take any chances. Plus, the story said the only way she'd be sure was to guess L.

One of my biggest regrets is not buying a vowel. Cost me $12,000

I like Sajak's Wheel jargon "one-letter solve" in his tweet. Sounds like how my high school girlfriend broke up with me.
