Cool read on how she did it. There is a process of elimination when trying to solve the puzzles - there definitely are patterns. What she did, though, was just amazing.

I imagine that it's a lot harder to solve under the lights and in front of the cameras.

Now I don't feel as cool when I whip the tail of TPIR on facebook.

when i read the title for some reason in my head i was thinking the wheel from price is right. i was thinking someone spun it so hard that it broke.

I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person, but I don't have the right kind of intelligence to play Wheel Of Fortune. I suck at solving puzzles.

Years and years ago, I remember watching a Price is Right episode where this guy with these gigantic arms spun the wheel with just one arm, which amazed Barker. The wheel zoomed around, literally, for a couple of minutes, and Barker joked that they were going to have to pre-empt "The Young and the Restless."

If I remember right, the guy didn't get the dollar, but ended up winning the whole show.

Also to equal the Wheel woman's feat, yesterday, there was a woman on Price who won the clock game in 4 seconds. That's right. 4 seconds for two different prizes. Both prizes were something like 599 and 799, and the woman used her guesses in the 99s.

This thread title sounds like the continuing adventures of Lisbeth Salander.

Jonesy's story on the guy who cleaned up on The Price Is Right was great.

One day, someone's going to spin that thing so hard it breaks free and rolls into the audience, crushing dozens. I'd definitely take it in a fight against the Wheel of Fortune wheel.

Didn't some guy once figure out the sequence on Press Your Luck and cleaned them out?

Yep. Here's the wikipedia read on it--pretty interesting.
