Of course Omar is back. He is the Greek chorus.

    Omar will be back.

(Stringer and Avon will not, Whitlock. Sorry. I just don't see it.)

Apparently Jimmy McNulty's role has been scaled back a bunch, as Simon and Co. feel his character has evolved to where there is little else to explore.

I wish Bunny Charles would be back (as a teacher maybe?), but I bet he won't. He was outstanding last season.

I'm betting that Marlo Black will play a bigger role this season. He's wearing Avon's crown, after all.

Just download that baby and you've got every episode. Good quality, too. If you've got a DVD burner, like I do, you can load them bitches on a DVD and enjoy.

Clarke Peters (Lester Freamon) whould get all of Morgan Freeman's narration checks when that change of the guard is made.

I love the nucleus of the cops on the show, and I'm a little concerned at how few of those great actors are mentioned in that story.

Just finished Season 3 yesterday. Watched the whole thing in the last month. In awe.

I'm a huge fan of the Sopranos but it isn't even in the same ballpark as The Wire.

I can't think of one bad episode in the first three seasons.

    Damn Straight.

The Barksdale Crew would have killed Tony, and fucked Meadow before the opening credits.

Saw the premiere already OnDemand. FUCKING BRILLIANT.

The Wire is miles better than The Sopranos, and I really like The Sopranos.

I can't believe no one resurrected this thread today. Where's Whitlock?

Also, thanks again to OnDemand. I've now seen both episodes this season, and they're both phenomenal. I think The Wire is challenging Lost and 24 for supremacy on my favorite shows list.
