The weirdest fantasy football question ever

Ok, here's the deal. I am the commissioner of the fantasy football league here at work.
The guy in first place died about midseason, it was his second year in the league.
I have since taken control of the team, making sure his roster is filled out. He has since finished first in the regular season and playoffs begin this week.
    The prizes are 150, 100, 50.
If he wins money, which is very likely, what should we do?

Does the guy have any family? How about taking a poll of the other owners and see if they would be willing to donate all the prize money to the guy's family? It may not be much, but it'll probably help them.

Give it to the guy's charity of choice in his name.

    Here's the deal...
    1. He has no family
    2. He would have NEVER given the money to a charity, at least didn't seem to have any causes worth pursuing. All he ever talked about was moving to Panama.

We are thinking of finding a charity, but there are some owners that want to move the money down a place. Say he gets first, that money moves to second.

My idea was using the money to buy a trophy for the league and naming it after him. He loved fantasy football and it was an obsession for him. The morning he died he was making transactions on the league website.

Put it in the bank to make next season's prize really good?

No, Visanthe Shiancoe doesn't get extra points per inch. Wait, what?

Well, he died doing what he loved.

I guess I like Flash's idea. Use the money for next season.

Buy a trophy or plaque. Label it the "John Smith Memorial trophy" or something. Use the extra money for next season's draft party.
