The vocalization of sex personified

Had a discussion with a friend about this question: If sex had a voice, whose would it be?

The male one, we agreed, has to be Barry White (if he were alive, anyway). I would think he'd be an easy winner.

The female one, representing pure sexiness? Doesn't seem as clear-cut. The friend cited Joss Stone; I thought of Kathleen Turner as Jessica Rabbit.

What say youse?

 

Men: Josh Turner's deepest notes on "Your Man." Or the former deep singer of Boyz II Men. Barry White doesn't (didn't) do it for me at all.

Women: no idea.

For those who've ever watched old Bogart movies, there was a time Lauren Bacall was the epitome of the sexy voice. Now when I think of it, all I can hear is pitches for Fancy Feast cat food and some store called Tuesday Morning.

For more modern day tastes, I think Scarlett Johansson's got a nice voice.
