Didn't a previous "reorganization" move Ramos out of sports?

How did it get so bad in Atlanta in such a short period of time?

Atlanta is hardly the lone ranger. You can't even count the number of papers that have done a cut and then done another one - and then another (and maybe another).
Crystal balls are all non-functioning. No one had a clue how bad it would (or will) get.
Newspapers blew it on the Internet. Plain and simple. Now it is too late. There's no catching up. Yet papers still want to be Kings of the Internet when others already have that cornered.
How 'bout going back to being a newspaper? Except no one will advertise in one anymore.

Yes, briefly, before everybody recognized that wasn't a good idea.

Replacing a guy with that kind of work ethic and reputation would be quite a thing.

As an AJC customer, let me state that Knobler's work will definitely be missed.

Can't say the same for Moore. He might be a nice guy, but his writing was beyond predictable, and that's about the nicest thing I can say.

And if they had to pay Furman severance based on years of service, he would pretty much own the AJC.

Has anyone seen the latest "reorganization" at the AJC (released earlier today)? It's rather stunning, to say the least. A lot of pi$$ed off people. What in the hell are they doing there?
