The U could be in trouble again

    Good point and we're in complete agreement on Penn State. Not to dredge up another thread, but the awful nature of the cover-up merited it. More so than SMU or any other chicken-poop recruiting scandal.

    I think I'd be satisfied if Miami takes a good hammering. Even if they're a perpetual recidivist.

    The one big difference in the scenarios is that SMU stonewalled the NCAA every step of the way. Miami didn't do that in the initial investigation and I doubt they will this time.

    Well, that and I doubt the Miami BoT is directly involved in a massive scheme to pay players. I also don't believe the governor of Florida is a Miami BoT member.

    I meant more in terms of -- they've been warned and yet they decided to keep having rules be broken.
