You may be right. I certainly have to admit I was wrong in thinking the Panthers would be exposed this week. I'm just used to this being the type of game where they piss themselves. Very impressive performance.

Iowa/Sparty game: DB Brett Greenwood for Iowa is down on the field after a collision with teammate after making tackle of Blair White. Doesn't look good. It was head-to-head.

Can't believe this hasn't come up yet... Was going to watch the TCU-BYU game, but DirecTV dropped Versus, a Comcast entity, because of the bickering between the two.

Replays can be seen on Channel 616, but that's it for DirecTV.

Western ought to be kicking themselves. Eight of their drives ended in ISU territory, but they only scored twice.

Conversely, ISU only ended five of its 13 drives in Leatherneck territory. Until its go-ahead drive, the Sycamores didn't have a first down for the entire second half.

Tebow pulled a JPW there. Have to see if the Bullies make them pay like they did Alabama two years ago. Big difference is they were leading after the INT return against the Tide.

    Beastly run.

Amazing that among 85 scholarship players, Kirk Ferentz doesn't have ONE 240-pound running back who can bash his way to the end zone from inside the 1. Also amazing that he has so little faith in his offensive line that he calls a screen pass and a sweep in that goal-to-go series.

Did someone say annual South Carolina epic fail? 10-7 mighty Commodores going to the fourth.

  10. Why did Bob Griese issue an apology at halftime?
He apologized for saying something about JP Montoya and NASCAR.. What did he say?

Said Montoya was out eating tacos.
