Clemson-Miami may be the best of the bunch, followed closely by TCU-BYU and Wake-Navy.

I will be keeping an eye on Texas-Mizzou. That has ambush written all over it.

I'm thinking we could be losing Texas, TCU and Iowa from the ranks of the unbeaten and Boise State is at Hawaii so anything could happen there, too.

The Missouri offense, with Gabbert hobbling, is too fubar right now to even think of an upset. And I think Michigan State can take Iowa.

Hawaii is terrible this year. They were within 1 minute and 12 seconds of losing to a team that's not even a full member of Division 1-AA/FCS yet.

Oh, I didn't realize that. But they are tough at home, right?

If it's a close game, look for some questionable laundry on the field, the kind that would make SEC refs blush.

If two non-BCS teams crashed the party, the BCS powers would put them against each other anyway in the Fiesta so as not to spoil the orgy and no way in hell do they make the championship. So win on, Smurfs and Frogs. Destiny beckons.

Hawaii is awful. They haven't won since they lost Greg Alexander for the season.

The offense did play surprisingly well last week with the backup Moniz maybe getting his feet under him (he threw for 360 yards last week), but they aren't stopping anybody.

They've given up 36 points a game the last four weeks to UNLV, La. Tech, Fresno State and Idaho.

Can't do that, unless the Big 12 champion makes the championship game. And even if Texas does run the table, there's a better than 50 percent chance the Fiesta would take a second Big 12 team, such as Oklahoma State, or perhaps the second team from the Pac-10 (assuming USC is in the Rose Bowl).

No, if Boise and TCU end up 12-0, one will go to the Fiesta and one to the Sugar or Orange.

They won't take two non-BCS teams. They will do everything in their power to not take two non-BCS teams. That's what happened last year when Boise State and Utah were undefeated. Utah got a BCS berth and Boise got to go to San Diego.
