The list is and always has been nonsense. No one in the business pays any attention to it, and those outside likely don't much care. As for this...

That's silly to say. Are there frauds throughout the business? You bet there are. There are also plenty of good, professional people who do their jobs and do it well, much like any other line of media work.

Ordway is very good -- when he isn't trying to scream over Fred Smerlas.

Love or hate his style, Stern should be No. 1 on this list for perpetuity, if only for the changes he brought about in the industry and his ability to bring a couple million customers over to Sirius.

He did NOT bring a couple million customers to Sirius.

He didn't HURT Sirius's rise in customers, either. But there are definitely others that contributed. Opie and Anthony, for one.

Sirius, when Stern arrived, had 1.3 million subs. They are close to 2 million now.

Of course, with Howie Math, he said he brought 3 million.

  8. The Ron and Fez show should be on there somewhere. Ron Bennington is a comic genius.

He would be a genius to me if he would never allow East Side Dave near a mic ever again.

Problem with Stern now is he's jumped the shark. Part of his shtick was the radio suits and the FCC trying to sensor him. Now, he is a radio suit. He has complete control of his two channels and the talent that are hired on them. And now, instead of fighting with rivals like John Debella and Mancow, he has them all sucking up because they want a fat payday on one of his channels. He wernt from railing against the establishment to being the establishment.

If the Greaseman hadn't gotten Imus-quality stoopid twice -- twice! -- before Imus did, he'd at least be in the 20s on that losit. Good God, he was funny at his best.

Ordway and his entire show is tough on the ears. No. 1 in ratings only because it's crazy Boston, and folks there listen to anything sports-related. That show is just a bunch of shouting, talking over each other and laughing at unfunny jokes.

    Kornheiser was the best ever.
Steve Summers great on FAN. Funny as hell.
Neil Rogers in Miami is a blast.
Mike and Maddog easy to hate, but very interesting.
